"D" License Course
Length:  36 hours

7 hours - theory in classroom
21 hours - practical sessions on field
1 ½ hours - written testing in classroom
6 ½ hours - practical testing on field
Curriculum Emphasis of the "D" Course:

  • Course is offered by each state association
  • Prepare coaches to further develop the player’s technical abilities and their application within the game
  • Increase the understanding of the Principles of Play and how they are applied in the game
  • Expand the coaches understanding of 11 a-side soccer and the importance of developing a team system that is based on the player’s abilities

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: SUSC/GRIFOS HOSTING ADVANCED REGIONAL DIPLOMA
The Advanced Regional Diploma is a 21-hour course designed as a supplement to the Regional Diploma, adding eight hours devoted to technical and tactical uses of small-sided games, the study of systems of play and a practice teaching component.
 
Participants are given an opportunity to conduct a training session on an assigned topic and are assessed by the course instructor. All candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the time of application.  If a candidate is under 18 years of age, an adult must accompany him or her for the duration of the course.
Course Fee: $90 per candidate.
 
An eight-hour option is available for groups who have taken the Regional Diploma and are interested in the additional hours provided in this course. The course is an excellent preparatory course for the National Diploma.
Supplement Fee: $45 per candidate.
 
Friday May 2 ==6pm to 9:30pm
Saturday May 3 == 9am to 5:30pm
Sunday May 4 == 9am to 5pm

ATTENDEES REQUIREMENTS: Minimum USSF C and or coaching experience. Must fill out registration form and return by April 15th, 2008

Fees for the Symposium:
Ø AFFILIATE ORGANIZATIONS COST OF ATTENDANCE:  $150.00 for the session
Ø ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE NOT AFFILIATED: $250.00 for the session
